Updatin'

We have had a crazy few months and I haven't updated for real in a while.  Let's see well Justin has received his Diploma YAY!  He worked so hard and he was inducted into the Delta Mu Delta Chapter here.....I am so excited and proud of him.  He has decided not to walk but I did get pics of the Delta Mu Delta ceremony thanks to him Mama (yeah I forgot the camera way to go!)

We have been crafting...sorry about the crooked pic of B.  Kbug made the adorable purse she is so great!  Then B made the crosstich which she taught herself to do!
K.bug started softball and LOVES it.  She went to the batting cages with her team the other day and was hittin' 40mph balls!

We have had some crazy times......
K.bug had a kidney stone....
B we finally found out the cause of her tummy aches for the last 5 years, she has Celiac which means she can't have glueton which means she can't have wheat or malt.
Jedi...well he is just laid back and takin' things easy like always such a fun kid.

BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Well we are headed into the final month of school, which proves one of the busiest months of the year.  I love living here they do some awesome programs for the children.
Tornado is in the 1st grade circus which means lots of rehearsal this week and helping with props getting them to and fro.  It is tons of fun.  She is super excited I am sure it has everything to do with the fact that she gets to dance and we all know that girl loves to shake her stuff!  I have been busy making her a tutu K.bug helped it was a ton of fun.
Jedi unfortunately didn't get a program in lieu of the school fire it ruined all of their costumes so sad!  But thats okay he says he didn't want to ballet anyway  :)  he is so adorable.
K.bug has a concert her grade is doing we will be running to do that also.  I love all of the programs it is just so busy when it comes down to it.
Then field day!  I still remember field day it was my favorite day of the year.
They all three are in tennis and I am finally posting some pics.  This is the one sport Jedi has fallen in love with.  We have tried them all except football for fear if somebody lay my boy flat they may have me to deal with!
We are now gearing up for all of the summer clubs!  The school offers a couple of week long ones Jedi and Tornado will be doing and K.bug has chosen to go to 4-H camp.
We will officially have some lawn soon!  It has been hard work but we are just about there.  We had one mishap where I decided to be helpful and cut through the electric for the sprinklers  OOPS thank heavens for a forgiving husband!
Beads N Bows is doing well it has slowed a bit but we expected that to happen with the holidays dying down we do have a big boutique that we will be doing this next week.  It keeps us busy.  I officially have a preschool class for 2010-2011 school year and I can't wait!

Picture Over Load!

Well because I am officially a HUGE Slacker I have not been very diligent in making sure our blog is updated.  So here I go to summarize the past couple of weeks.  SORRY!

Easter was a blast my Mom was in town and that is always fun.  She was able to stay for a whole week, we didn't really do anything super exciting we just hung out, because the kids were out of school they were able to really spend some time with her.  Here are some pics from Easter.  By the time they were done coloring their eggs they looked like tie dye children.  Its like this every year and it is one of my favorite parts.  I thoroughly enjoy watching our children dye eggs they have so much fun.  We also went to see that new movie; How to Train Your Dragon.  Such a cute movie we all loved it.

Now for their Drug Free Concert.  Last night our community put on a concert to teach the children about staying Drug Free and stay away from underage drinking.  Each grade k-4th learned a song to sing about it.  What a fun program for the kids, the first part was a bunch of blah blah blah to them but then they got to get up and shine and sing their little hearts out.  It was something that Jedi was VERY excited about he LOVES to sing and does a great job of it.  K.bug really didn't want to but her friends talked her into it.  Tornado is always good to ham it up, in fact she spent some time making sure her neighbor in the group did the right actions in the meantime forgetting to do hers.  She started off great by pulling faces at us before the song began... What can I say she is her fathers child....or would that be more like her Uncle Ty's niece????
Food for thought.....Did you know one in 8 fourth graders have had more than just a few sips of alcohol????  Just a thought make sure your kids understand the dangers!

Here we go again....

Do ya ever feel like you can't get away from illnesses in your family. That is how this month is going, in fact more like the last two weeks. We all started out with the icky stomach bug, that passed now we have K.bug with either a really bad cold or crupe, Tornado and jedi with the stomach thing again and Jedi starting in with whatever K.bug has and I am just plain exhausted I think mainly from my CFS, it tends to get the best of me when I come down with something. So I say pooey on the past week and a half, I am ready for a do over!

On a happy note, we are settled in.....Things seem to be going well for now. I just hope that we aren't too much of a burden for Mom and Dad they have been so great during all of this, we really couldn't ask for better parents on either side. They are all so incredible.

An update on my Mom, only one more Chemo Treatment and she is done, other than all of the tidius checkups for the next year or so. She is excited to be done. I am so excited for her to be done, she was amazing during it all, both her and my Dad were so strong through all of it. I am very blessed to have them for my parents and for their example in strength.

Love to all!
