My new Read....

I don't get t read much, because it consumes my life and drives my family insane! But I couldn't resist grabbing myself a book at the library the other day (by the way my favorite library is Bingham creek, you should go there it is set up so fun for the kids and they always have great programs)

My book of choice from pure curiosity (I don't know anybody that has read it) Bikini Season. I love it so far, it took me 2 chapters to decide, she introduces all of the characters in the first two chapters and I was havin' issues keepin' up. She is by far not a Stephanie Myers but I can relate to the Women in her book so intimately. Those of you who know me and choose to read it will understand why.....Here is an excerpt so that you can see why...this is so me!

Some history first....These four friends decide they need to drop a few pounds each for a different equally as important reason, they give themselves a name of Teeny Bikini Club. And they become eachothers support group....each starting out strong the first 3 days Angie a mom of 2 children has had enough and she decides to bake by Monday and Erin one of her support group members makes a surprise visit in the middle of the first batch....

She ran on tiptoe to the door and put her eye to the peephole. ERIN! What was she doing here? The psychic cookie connection of course....Angela wasn't supposed to be baking. The doorbell rang again and Angela raced to the kitchen to hide the evidence. She grabbed the bowl with the leftover dough and the rack of cookies and looked frantically around her, she couldn't hide them anywhere in the kitchen. That would be like leaving the murder weapon at the scene of the crime....Angela raced to the laundry room, dropping cookies as she went, then yanked open the dryer which, fortunately, was empty and stuffed the whole mess inside. On her way back she picked up the two that had fallen on the floor, calling, COMING! For only a nanosecond she thought of tossing them in the garbage. That would be a terrible waste. She ducked into the bathroom and stuffed them in the medicine cabinet. Another cookie had rolled into a corner to hide and Angela caught it and stuffed it in her mouth.

I laughed so hard I would sooooo do this, just no to get caught. I am guilty on occasion of eating a whole bag of cookies just so nobody knows I ate half (like they're not going to miss a whole bag!)
