Today was shopping for the perfect baptism dress. Grandma M. always takes the kids when it is time for baptism, to get the perfect outfit. K.bug was the first one and it took us a few hours and she finally found it. Jedi well he said just get me a zipper tie he was as happy as pie. B was so excited to go and it only took us a half hour to try on 6 dresses and find the perfect one....so here are the choices.....

Gluten
Wow when we started this Gluten free adventure a few short weeks ago I never really expected it to be THIS much work!
I thought okay she has Celiac no prob I'm sure she is just a little sensitive no more of this NO problem!
Boy was I wrong! She is extremely sensitive. . . so this is our enemy....
The problem being we aren't used to this yet and these don't always get used so then we get these......
and I get this.....
Because it is my job to protect my little one tummy aches and all. She is forgiving and easy going which is wonderful. But everytime we see those tears or hear my tummy hurts I am going to throw up....my heart breaks not only because I messed up, but because for 5 LONG years (well that she could say) this poor child has dealt with tummy aches and throwing up and being down right miserable! I couldn't do anything about it....Until we went here. . .
It was then that a wonderful Doc listened to my complaint and concern for our poor B. It was then he said I agree fully that we should run this Celiac test, along with a bunch of others, while we prick her once so that we can get as much done as possible with one trip in.
It was then that I felt listened too, appreciated as a parent and hopeful. It was then that our Kitchen changed, it was then that our B felt goodagain
for once!
Although this change is not easy or fun, it is a good change. It is good to see her feel good, to eat more. It is good to see the care and concern that her Big Bro and Sis show her. It is good to feel like we have an answer. So today I am grateful to good Doctors that don't shun me because I haven't a degree. But honor the fact of Motherly and Fatherly instinct.
I am grateful to wonderful friends and family that help us on this journey and research without being asked and share all that they find and even find treats to share with our fam that even B can have.
Thank you we love you because every crumb makes a difference! LOL yep I am that cheesy!

"I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD"
Well the two girlies have been sicker than sick this past week. Which is no fun for any of us. When they were fevering it was quiet and peaceful just little snorings coughings and regular temperature taking....then they start feeling better and we remember what reality is hahaha.
I just wanted to share a funny story about B. She definitely had it the worst, so she is quite congested and sounds adorable. In fact K.bug would love for her to keep her squeeky voice cuz it is so cute. Anywho....About two days ago she came to me and said everything sounds fast and LOUD...I said okay sweetheart I will try to have a us be quieter why don't you go lay down. Frequently I heard this throughout the day...I know it is just because her ears are plugged too.
Then everything loud and fast turned into "I hear voices in my head"....Now me being such a "serious" person Yeah RIGHT! I just giggled to myself and said "what are they saying, sure wish we weren't sick anymore?"...That didn't even get a smile....boom boom CH! Strike out for the comedian. So I said once again I am sorry honey there isn't really anything I can do for voices in your head. What do they sound like? She said" I don't know I can't understand them it is just like pshpshpshpshp". I mean rude the least voices in our heads can do is speak english right! Yeah still no laugh or smile.
So this morning I wake up to her face in mine at a bright 2:30 a.m. mom they are talking to me AGAIN! and it is scaring me. . . .I was way too tired to be funny this time so we just snuggled til they stopped "talking" and I put her back in her bed. Now won't this just not be funny if her illness made her schizophrenic? Yeah Yeah that wasn't funny but I have a strange sense of humor. I know she is fine she just has some fluid in her ears.
I am just hoping those voices take on some english and they say "hey B you should clean your room before mom goes nutty on ya"........
