B's Karate Review

Saturday November 19th B had her first karate review. If you remember from last year I explained that the Dojo (spelling?) that we attend has you earn your Gi.  Most places you start with a Gi and your white belt but not here.  He really makes them earn them and I LOVE that.  At the end he gives this incredible speech about their journey through not only karate but life.
He also lets them know like in life the only way to fail is to quit.  So she worked her little tail off to get ready for this review, she took some serious beatings from fellow students (including her brother and Sensai).
Finally the day came and she was ready {nervous}.  She knew her stuff and at home flew through it without a second thought.  But when she saw everybody she started doing the B fidget and needing extra lovin'.
She did wonderful.  She remembered it, she fought strong and didn't EVER give up.  She faced Boys much larger than her.  Went up against her Sensai both with sight and blind folded and did wonderful.  Here are some pics of her day.  We are so proud of all of our children and their willingness to put in the hard work of all their activities.

Because I am so on top of it I forgot to put our card back into our camera before leaving so the only pics we have are from Justins iphone thank heavens he had that!
